Help: Setting things up - Cable-DVD/Video-TV

I need help.

I am trying to set up my aunts Cable - DVD/Video - TV

ok, the Cable box has the regular stuff (2 scart sockects, 2 RF sockects, etc), the DVD/Video combi has 2 scart sockects, and 2 RF sockects, but the TV only has 1 Scart sockect & 1 RF sockect.

I am trying to set it all up so that the channels can be seen as they meant to (1-5 as outside ariel has been installed by engineer) and also have the DVD/Video work.

when the system was set up by the engineer he never set up the old video, and it was always on black and white. there is nothing wrong with the TV, the Cable Box, and the DVD/Video is brand new.

how can I set this up so that everything works perfectly?

I have attached a visual of how it is just now.

would I need a scart splitter and RF splitter?

ik

Leave scarts as they are, then aerial to rf in cable stb, rf out to dvd rf in then rf out to tv.

ok, just to let you know the DVD/Video has auto set up, but I will need to set up a channel for this machine. will this system need a normal channel or an AV channel?

thanks multiskilled, it worked, although I had to figure out that for one to work the other had to be off.

cheers
