I hate to be pedantic (nah I love it) but the water is not doing anything unusual its an optical illusion caused by a strobe light

I used to own a strobe light way back in my teens I found the effects it had on running water fascinating. But this looks much better. Nice find.

I love any special effects that use moving water. Didn't we have a thread showing an indoor waterfall with pictures being projected on to it some time ago?
I remember strobe lights being used in Night Clubs. Gave some weird effects when you watched other dancers.

It wasn't pictures projected on it but computer controlled gaps in the water that formed the pictures/words..
