cost of car respray

I have long scratches on the side of my car. they are surface level (bout 10 in total around 1-7 inches long. maybe one is a bit deeper -caused by a thorn bush- and the corner of the bumper has had the paint sheared off caused by scraping along a brick wall.) The scratches are on the front door, rear door, rear bumper and rear corner panel. Does anyone know how much approximately it will cost to respray the doors and rear panel. It's onlly on one side.

The car is a 7 year old (51 reg) Seat Ibiza in silver.

Thank you

I had a similar problem and the garage wanted to charge about £750 and I would have had to pay the first £160, as my car was 10 years old I didn't bother.

Re: cost of car respray

Have you had a go with T-cut? It will reduce the appearance of the scratches and will possibly eliminate the less serious ones altogether.

Re: cost of car respray

had similar on my car ,used t cut - then a light dusting of clear lacquer from 18 inches away[ from spray can] the lacquer penetrates the scratches and disguises them, then after a week or so t cut again ,and hey presto, BUT YOU DO NEED TO BE GOOD AT SPRAY PAINTING TO DO IT.
