EDIT: Scratch that. It's in Wolverhampton - there's no way I'm going there. Ginger hair's the least of their problems

It's not the hair colour most of us have a problem with, it's that it tends to be attached to people who are mingers (perhaps that's why "ginger" is often pronounced to rhyme with it?).
Course thankfully there are many exceptions (such as all those red heads who have posted above), and it seems to be either one end of the looks spectrum or the other, very few "average" looking red heads
Just look at the red heads featured in the video.

Exactly, they're either drop dead gorgeous (Angie Everhart, Alyson Hannigan, Isla Fisher, Nicole Kidman), or butt ugly (see the video for examples).
