Re: Holiday for £300 no more
Could hire a quiet litte place from cottages4u ? Trouble with this country is basic costs are so high, probably easier to find a holiday abroad for that money lol

What does she enjoy?
A shopping spree? A stroll along a beach? A pamper at a health farm? A scramble up a hillside? A quiet meal somewhere special or a ploughmans'? A laze in the sun? Amazing archictecure? Whale-spotting?
Does the £300 include spending money?

Relaxation is a pretty subjective passtime though mate ... some people relax lying on a beach in the sun, but personally I get extremely bored and fidgety just lying there.
What makes her relax?

Re: Holiday for £300 no more
Last time I went on holiday it cost £300 for both of us on a package 7 day Lorett de mar on the Costa Bravo, that included 7 day hire of a Punto which we used to explore everywhere (gerona, Tossa e mar, Blanes, Barcelona)
I know not UK as you asked but one hell of an option...just check the last minute booking websites

Re: Holiday for £300 no more
Camping is a great way to get a cheap holiday for a few days. Last April my and my Wife (then girlfriend) went to Wiltshire to goto the Longleat Safari Park. It was brilliant. Only cost us £36 for 4 nights...obviously you'd have fuel to pay for on top of that. But if she doesn't mind the outdoors then id seriously look into it
And we've just come back from 6 days in Suffolk and that cost us £120 (high season prices though)
