a big let down again !!

watched the news last night and the brits let themselves down a bucketful again,they were shown on holiday all p....d out of their minds the girls were queing up for the morning after pill,i wonder were their parents embarrased watching this ? if getting plastered and having sex with tom,dick,and harry every night is what they call enjoying themselves they must have pea sized brains.i aint no saint by any means but i have always had respect for girls and myself and others.

My objection is the total lack of responsibility. This is how disease is spread unwanted pregnancies and a general lack of respect for anything decent

As for it being fun well hey if running the risk of your bits getting infested or babies running your life and changing your plans you may never actually know what it is to love someone else as acting in this way shows you do not even love yourself

I had fun when I was younger, that's part of growing up, as long as you play safe then I don't see what's the harm is. Ok some don't play safe but it takes two so no blame on anyone, the blame can be the availability of the morning after pill for one.

As for loving yourself, some people don't have issues, have fun, live a little, learn by a few mistakes sure, but to say anyone who slept around can't love themselves or won't ever love someone is stupid.

I do understand about the general lack of responsiblity but nothing's changed from the 60's onwards don't you think.

Actually it has.We have AIDS which wasn't known or dreamt of when I was a teenager..and strangely even since AIDS has appeared it seems more and more girls are behaving the way boys did in the past..

Girls who went out and got drunk regularly and had sex with every male were in the minority even in the swinging 60's and 70's.

Thanks for calling me stupid I take issue with that thank you. I do think things have changed since the 60's its worse today morals are at an all time low and sinking fast . If you think thats ok then that makes me wonder ......

I'm stupid sorry, but then again it was before my time.

What's different now from say the last 20 years or so, not a lot, just that we've taken over a few holiday hotspots.

AIDs has had a big impact, but there are a lot that played safe before all this AIDs business came about. Today is it a bigger risk, but that's goes without saying anyway. It is wrong to sleep around without precautions why aren't people doing this? Maybe it's attitudes that it'll never happen to them. I personally think education is partly to blame, there was a big advertisement about AIDs a long time ago, but for someone like myself who's been in a long term relationship for the last 20 years or so I could say AIDs no longer exist (OTT I'd admit and I hope that's taken in the right context).
