Pensions form advice?

I know i`ll probably just get told to seek a pensions advisor, but i`m filling in a transfer form and there are a couple of questions i don`t understand and wondered if anyone on here can help me answer them.

There are no personal details of mine just a choice of two options.

Probably the best thing to do is post the questions, that way people can see what you're stuck with and might be able to offer some constructuve advice. As you say though, best to ensure that there's nothing personally identifiable in there

Cheers Rob, This is the form i`m stuck on. Does it apply to my contracted out pension which i would like to transfer into or do i have to get a new one and transfer into that?

Bit confused as to what your question is. That form is a discharge form to allow you to transfer a contracted out pension or a personal pension to another pension.

If your transfering out a contracted out pension you will only be allowed to transfer it to a pension that has a protect rights element (ie SSP)

Why are you transfering? UNless the performance is poor or the charges are high its not really a good idea
