I'm a Toshiba or LG man myself - I've got a 42" Tosh, and it's cracking.

You'll struggle to get a 42 inch TV for that money mate, even Ebuyer who sell them cheaper than the shops can't sell them for under £550. Check them out HERE

My advice would be to stay away from those retailers.

If you can wait for it for a day or two you'll be abale to save ~£150 ~£200 on the price.

Have a look at http://www.digitaldirect.co.uk - that's were we got ours from.

Even with next day delivery, we saved £200 by getting it from them instead of the local crappy Currys.

But be careful with Richer Sounds...sometimes they sell grey import models and you might find your warranty is invalid if anything goes wrong.

Re: TV £550 Maximum

well the years warranty will be with Richer sounds and if you take out there cheap extended cover its still with them. 5 years cover for 10% of the purchase price http://www.richersounds.com/informat...supercare_info > I like Richersounds as it was built up by a guy who liked his music nothing special and not a rich guy after getting richer the company imo has good ethics

Quote:
Covered:
1. Full parts and labour for 5 years.
2. Home pick up and delivery (LCD under 32" is return to store).
3. If the unit cannot be repaired we will replace with a similar specification model.
4. Pixel drop out as per the manufacturer's specification.

Get on Ebay and buy yourself a top quality high spec used CRT model for next to nothing. You know it makes sense.
