NOT. Because it's just a date, no different to any other.

Re: Friday 13th - unlucky or not?
I agree with Russ, it is just a date.
There are several theories put forward for interpreting Friday 13th as 'unlucky', from the presence of Judas at the Last Supper, the Norse God Loki gatecrashing a party, to the arrest of the Knights Templar.
- but I don't see why one day should be any more 'lucky' or 'unlucky' than any other ...

Lucky for most people.
Unlucky if you have paraskevidekatriaphobia (fear of Friday the 13th).

Re: Friday 13th - unlucky or not?
I used it as an excuse to take the day off work!
Gym, Sauna, Steam room, nice lunch, might crack open a beer later.....

Re: Friday 13th - unlucky or not?
I was born on Friday the 13th - which may explain alot
My grandad was twice in a ship that was torpedoed on the 13th.
I did read a couple of years ago about a guy who would book Friday the 13th of and stay in bed, only leaving to go to the loo.
He would have prepared food which he would eat in bed.
Unfortunately one year lighning hit his chimney which ended up crashing through is roof, straight on to his bed killing him.
It's just another day.

Re: Friday 13th - unlucky or not?
Lucky for me, my dad gave me £2,000 for no reason what-so-ever. I told him I didnt need or want any money as I have plenty of disposable income and savings but he insisted. Lucky I had posted a Fathers day card hey!?

One of the guys I work with was given his notice today too.
Really sucks and our line manager and the rest of us don't want to see him go, but the support contract isn't going to be renewed so the company wants to make as much as possible until the end.
