and got rid of all the letters that I don't like from the alphabettispaghetti

Funny you should say that. I opened 2 tins today just so I could make longer and more swear words, my mum thinks I'm immature, my wife is exasperated and my kids, well let me tell you! Some of the words they come out with make me blush

To be honest, it was a lie about the alphabetispaghetti (how _do_ you spell it?) - I don't have it any more - it started to scare me - I kept finding threatening messages in them, and I was afraid to open the tins anymore.
Least you can't make scary messages with spaghetti hoops... (well other than 'oooooooooo')

I see 2 questions here:
What did you do today (thread title) and
What did you really do today. (question in first post)
So what did I do today, let's see.
First of all I restored a 1962 Jaguar X-type to roadworthy condition. then popped down the sports centre for a game of tennis then had drinks with Gilles and Tarquin followed by an evening of backgammon with my local vicar and community police officer.
What did I really do?
Sat in an office from 8.30 to 4.30, popped down to tesco and watched tv and went online all evening.
I preferred the first though.
