It is sad. Central produced some excellent programs there. Some of which are still on ITV's 3 and 4 (two channels that show exactly how far downhill ITV 1 has gone).

Do any of the old regional stations, eg: Anglia, Border, exist anymore? or are they all now under the umbrella of ITV?

I think Channel exist and Granada. Not to sure about the rest though
