sorry guys - all is well, have just been busy. 
Previous email was based on hospital incompetence and slowness, meaning a) mum and baby had to stay in for several days, and then b) making them stay in for an extra night but only letting us know at 7.30 in the evening, when we were all packed up and ready to go... will go into further details at a later date..
anyway, we all got home yesterday, and now the fun begins

Well it was a beautiful day until................the phone call! Mother in law has suffered a major stroke and is not expected to recover. Dreading every phone call now.  Sooo far from home, soon will have to book flight for Mr Tink should the worst happen, while I stay here to tend failing dog.
