I've got an interview to join a supply agency tomorrow..I hate interviews and of course I've not got a current CV.  Plus of course my teaching qualification is soooo old they haven't heard of it...
The irony is that I'll probably end up in the school that I've been doing supply at for the last 15 years. 
Oh and I've got to drive to Southampton which I hate driving around anyway.Another city with a crazy one way system

Sometimes I think its worse when they tell you you came 2nd, it doesn't actually matter as you didn't get the job full stop! |

Keep this in mind - back in january I applied for what I thought was an awesome job and knew I could do it, and do it well. I applied and breezed through the interview. OK I shouldn't have made assumption but I had a call a few days later saying I'd be unsuccessful, we'll keep you on file yadda yadda and I was really disappointed.
I then got a call off them not long ago saying the person who took the job had left due to domestic reasons and they offered it to me 
And did I take it? Oh yes 
Sometimes coming second isn't always a bad thing. |

I understand exactly what you're saying Russ but i've got two jobs in the same way in the past - almost by default. I just want to get it on my own merit I don't sppear to be doing anything too wrong, just always 'pipped at the post'
Sorry, i'm just a bit negative atm - tomorrow is another day whilst tonight is for sulking and wine |
