Me? I was doing this calzoni thing from ASDA. Gone all crispy, so I ran it under the tap, still on the tray. Reached to turn off the tap and caught my thumb on the tray. They're heavy gauge steel - get really hot. All sore The skin above the first joint

Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 5.
I woke up this morning feeling very paranoid about our security. No reason that I can think of but it made me very uneasy.
As my feelings in the past have proved to be spookily true John tested our burglar and fire alarms, both have refused to work so service engineer booked for tomorrow. As I still feel uneasy I have just spent the last 2 hours changing every darn password I can think of.
I am not happy.

Well, you've got to drink something when the supermarkets can't get their shelves filled...

Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 5.
Been trying to get to my emails (on my work laptop) since 0720 this morning. Damn thing lets me log in and then just sits there doing nothing. 100% of the CPU being used by 'System' under the username 'SYSTEM'.
Gonna reboot and see if that helps, if it doesn't it's just gonna get the boot!

I think the BBC can take some of the blame for this..
News 24 was carrying footage of closed petrol stations, and seemed (IMO) to be exterting far more effort reporting people panic buying, and that petrol is running out than they were reminding people not to panic buy.
It's stupid. By doing this, they are encouraging people to create the situation where we run out of petrol!

Pathetic isn't it? Unfortunately I suspect that the [quote] tags still mean that you have to read some of the unk that passes for posts

Having attended a 'competency assessment' all day today for a new job which consisted of a group exercise, 2 written assignments, 1 presentation and an interview - I have to wait until tomorrow to find out if I've got the job
