Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 5.
Well it all happened....the operation was particularly unpleasant. Not painful in any way, and the doctors and nurses were, as expected, absolutely top notch. Had to keep an eye patch on last night (arrrrrrrrrrrrr) and went over this morning to have it removed and everything checked over - it appears to have all gobe well. My sight has definately improved and hopefully will continue to improve over the next 2 weeks. Thanks for the PMs of support

I was actually quite fascinated by mine... I could still see through the eye while they were operating, but obviously could only make out lots of pretty colours.

Same here, I could see something through it but there was a really bright light over me and I couldn't make anything out. I won't go in to detail as those with a weaker constitution might see their breakfast revisiting them but let's just say I was aware of certain movement in my eye too

Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 5.
Glad it went well for you I had mine done a few years ago and found it all very interesting, I wasn't given the option of being knocked out but to be honest I would have had it done under local anyway.

Sorry to hear that Wayne - but as Tennyson once said :

I hold it true, whate'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.

or slightly more fitting for your mood :
Quote:
And so it goes
Till the day you die
This thing they call love
It's gonna make you cry
I've had the blues
The reds and the pinks
One thing for sure
(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah
(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah
(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah
(Love stinks)
Love stinks yeah yeah
