Yeah, but Poser, etc have changed hands umpteen times over the years, whereas I could have sworn Roman [Caligari's former CEO - I assume he just gets called a head of department now] said at 1 point that he wouldn't sell out. If the company was in trouble & he had no choice, then fair enough, but if he did it just for the money then I think it's a damn shame.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 5.
Pointless emails... I hate 'em
We get them quite often at work. Usually they go something along the line of someone leaving their food/drink/cutlery in the deparment kitchen, and someone else helping themselves to it.
I'll give you an example. Someone had their special spoon nicked . Yesterday, we had a couple of emails announcing the theft, now we've had an email saying that someone had left a spoon in the soup bowl owned by the emailer above, but it was the wrong spoon.
Now, this begs the question: If the spoon was that valuable, why did the person not leave it in their desk drawer? All the staff have lockable desk drawers (actually pedestals).
And I won't even mention the amount of emails we get sent if someone suggests a change of procedure...

Thank goodness I'm not part of that sort of thing any more.It was bad enough getting messages in my pigeon hole every day several times a day.The thought of endless emails about such puerile crap would drive me nuts.
Now when I'm in school there are no messages for me..I haven't got a pigeon hole OR a school email.

I hate lazy ass staff who can't be bothered doing their dishes so just leave them for the cleaner. Whom i'm reminded (on a daily basis!) does not do dishes. So my dilemma is lazy staff and a cleaner who won't clean

Hearing that other people have gone on holiday and I'm stuck here. Wish I could just leave my job on hold and fly round the world.

Lightweight - I'm older than you, and I still manage it.
Mind you, the hangover lasts for days, but you've just got to tough it out, you wimp
