I've just checked and our chat room is working fairly efficiently(well as much as anything works with my laggy connection this AM).The tab is up there on the top dark blue bar..CHAT.You will need to invite people to come for a chat however as mostly it's empty. 
As for the Coventry issue..who has been ignoring you in particular?

Having had to drive to Cromer yesterday (on a road that I must have driven at least 20 times before), I managed to misjudge a corner and ended up doing an emergency stop while sliding sideways, to end up having crossed the road, stopping about a foot away from a ditch 
Then, having arranged another meeting down there for next Tuesday, I've now also got to Fraserburgh on Thursday and Friday - funny to think I changed jobs so I could spend more time at home, innit...

Installing Vista Service Pack, with the end result being ntoskrnl.exe is corrupt.
Hard to boot from DVD drive when you only have a wireless keyboard..............
Borrowed old ps/2 keyboard (usb won't do) and used repair utility on Vista CD, which did a system restore.
I really love spending 3 hours fixing a PC, after 10 hours at work running an IT department (grumble, mumble, etc, etc).
On the bright side, I appear to have gained 50GB back in disk space.
