I just fell down the stairs.  I was walking up and slipped. Last time I did that, I was like 4 or something and it was my grandmother's funeral and I broke my leg. The difference this time is that I haven't and I had my laptop in my hand. The pain is horrible.

My friend has just had a miscarriage yesterday - she had a still born baby only a year or so ago, she is the nicest girl in the world, all heart.
So unfair....

Oh I dont know how she will cope, other than it must be better than last time.
I'm extremely emotionally detached but im finding myself upset for someone else for the first time I can remember. Cant do anything and cant even go and see her.

- Wondering if my boss will give me some time off work (maybe unpaid leave) for a few days as I have a lot of relationship issues at the moment and need to clear my head. I cant sleep properly and it feels like I am going insane as I'm thinking about everything so much.

Having higher managment, choosing equipment we didn't need, against my qualified advice.
So my office is lumbered with a machine worth 10k in bits as it won't fit in my office when constructed! And if it ever was would be used 2 times a quater!
And yet sitting quiet and small next to my pc is a small machine that cost 2k that does the same job and much more at 1/3 the operating price....I am sitting quite smug now.
