Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 5.
People who push in front, then stop and wait while they decide where to go/what to do. Why in God's name can't people decide BEFORE they push in, or not push in at all?
Also, in a similar vein, I'd like to complain about the pillock who decided it would be a good idea to run out in front of me today. He run across my path with centimeters to spare. Had I not been as alert as I was, I'd have probably fallen on him.

Gotta agree, we have one that fits one slice and about 3/4's of one in one side... It's odd. Why didn't they make it just fit two? Or one, instead of all that wasted or extra space?

Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 5.
I just wish that I could find a toaster that has more than two settings.Mine is supposed to have 5 but in reality all I've got is either underdone or scorched.
Actually mine does do 4 slices of standard sized bread, just burnt or underdone.

I find underdone is better than Scorched... And most toasters really only have those settings as well. I should go back to grilling bread. Now, if only we had a grill...

Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 5.
Where have all the intelligent people gone? The ones that aren't complete idiots. I'd just finishing scanning my shopping, and moved to help my mate finish the packing, when the till beeped behind me, as if something was scanned. Turned round and this women is scanning her shopping. Had to point out that I'd not paid yet, and could she stop. "Oh sorry", she says, "I was busy talking". I nearly said something rude. One of these days I will forget my better upbringing, and say something rude. And there was a group of "men" in the lager section - bloody Southerners. Should dig a trench. Hadrian had the right idea - just put the wall too far north. They were acting in that really annoying way that makes you want to slap them. And prawns - not that there were any, but a couple of women were stood yaking in front of the freezer. It's a supermarket, not a therapy group. You shop. See - pick up item, put item in basket. I stood there with my arms folded, a gentle "You're a moron but I'm patient" look on my face, until they took the hint and moved. It's like Leeds has been invaded by idiots.

Unfortunately, a toater is supposed to toast bread, but it doesn't say in the instructions that it will toast a full slice in one go. (this is an asssumtion, as I have never, and will not ever read the instruction for toaster! I am male!)
Good toastings to you all, and goos night!!

The people who really get on my tit end are those that start unloading their shopping BEFORE you have finished unloading yours at the till leaving you with no room to put your weekly shopping without overlapping into theirs.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates Part 5.
Yep here I am again..Sunday night with three programmes to watch and of course the TV and BB go down at 7pm and don't return until after my programmes have finished.
I though at least it must be an area thing..but no there are no issues reported.
I wonder when Lewis will be repeated?Probably months down the line on ITV 3 and I'll miss it.At least I can get the other two programmes on catch up.

Coggy, Just catching up on my forum reading. I have a Russell Hobbs toaster which takes four slices of a standard size, extra thick sliced, loaf. This is the model which I bought late last year at a local discount shop for £29.99. Variable browning from nothing to charcoal.

You could do your toast how Paul Hogan used to do it: Nail the bread to the wall and toast it with a blow torch.
