It just so happens this person is the sister of another client who has had machines formatted etc and have paid me so now of course the sister has told my client I did her work free so now there is ill will from my client. I am really peeved feel about ready to find an employer so I do not have to worry about it anymore

Have a quiet word with the client again and say how 'upset' you were to be taken advantage of by his sister and that she just assumed she would get the work done for free. Say you didn't mention it to the client originally as you didn't want to let on that his sister was taking advantage of your business relationship with him.

So did I this morning at half 8 when they called me in for supply work...And then when I found out that they had known at the school that they needed people the night before...why not ask for someone then?

Your client is possibly now embarrassed about his sister's actions. A 'business as normal' attitude from you will most probably return your relationship with him as a customer back to it's previous footings.
Been there, done that. My motto is now:- Never do business with neighbours, family or friends. Sad but necessary.

Three moans..
1) I appear to have caught some sort of bug, so keep feeling sick, and have the odd stomach cramps.
2) People who arrange for me to be in places without consulting me. I am apparently supposed to be supporting a school visit, and because no one thought to inform or consult me until this week, I have already agreed to support a congferance on that day.
3) People who use "Reply To All" on emails when it is not justified. It is bad enough people sending out regular "someone has nicked my Spoon/Bowl/Milk/Soup from the kitchen give it back" emails without a load of people hitting reply to all, and just replying "well, I didn't" or complaining about the fact that people nick other people's stuff. I know I could just block the list and/or email addresses the emails are sent to, but the school sometimes uses them for important announcements.
