GC, have you looked at getting it resprayed? Actually a bit of scratching might not be that detrimental to its workings?

It's like a special plastic sort of skin - well it was. Now got big gouges in it. Not like the normal non-stick. It has to be super-smooth so the bread slips out easily - the pan is red hot so quick handling is needed

Do they have same model in Argos. You could buy it, swap parts around and return it back to argos within 16 days for a full refund
