Yes mate, I done an MCITP SA, CompTIA A+ and COMPTIA Network+ with Blue Screen IT down in Plymouth. Passed them all, without too many problems. I had been advised to do the MCITP as it was what employers want, but I realised its not really what I want to do when I leave Navy. The A+ and Network+ were great and this kinda job with VM is what I really want to do. When is it you leave the Forces?? I've got 12 weeks to go.

All 18 of us were sent away being told we'd be contacted within a week whether we had been successful or not, and be notified of any interviews we had to attend.

Any other info on these, got a 2nd interview tomorrow, being self employed the past 17 years, the problem solving/difficult customer questions should be a breeze.

How strict is the colour blind thing?

Think im slightly, but have no problems with wiring/electronics etc.

We didnt have a colour blind test to be honest. We had to wire up a master phone socket and an extension socket, and once we done that I asked when we were getting the colour blind test. He said they no longer did the colour blind test....dont know if that is just with the assessment in Bellshill or whether that is a national thing.
