Call your solicitor's secretary and ask when they were sent out. If they've been lost in the post they can send you copies.
Of course, you can change your solicitors any time you like (assuming it's you that's paying the bill). But then you'll have to find another solicitor to take on the case. And they'll be dubious about what sort of client you are if you change your solicitor without any apparent reason...
Once you do get a new solicitor, you'll have to pay your current solicitor before they'll release your file to you, and then you'll have to pay your new solicitor to go through all your paperwork.
What's the REAL problem with your solicitors?

I just told you.
Last October I had to do the same thing I am doing now. I did it all only for it to go missing in the post. The only way I found this out was when I rang up to query what was going on. Took me 4-5 days to get a answer then.
I did ring my solicitor asking about the papers on Tuesday and spoke to her Secretary. She told me my solicitor was off on holiday. My solicitor never told me this. I just feel she is going slow and its not helping my case.
