I wish! Thanks Cobs, we live in the sticks . Not complaining though, as has many advantages. Do get homesick, nowhere's like home, so far away.

Any half-decent sized Sainsbury's should do, we never had a problem getting one when we lived down south.
We're not partaking tonight though, Mrs T's on the youth club rota so she went out sharpish after I got home. We have a haggis-stuffed chicken for our Sunday roast though.

No joking, we have a Woolies, 3 banks, 4 charity shops, 4 estate agents, 3 shoe shops, and not much else. If we want anything we have to travel 14 miles to the nearest town, Oh, forgot we have an Asda, yipee. Haggis-stuffed chicken? Don't know about that one, Chris!!!

I like Haggis, last time I had it was about a month ago, you can't go generalising us all as Southern Softies!

Re: Wee sleekit cowerin timr'ous beastie
Just finished our Burns supper - had a dozen friends round.
Started off with the Selkirk Grace, then Cock-a-Leekie soup, then piped in the Haggis (MP3 version), which I (being the only Scot in the group) stabbed with a knife (Sabatier, rather then Skean Dhu - how middle-class can you get?), served with neeps and tatties, with lashings of single malt (one Islay, one Highland). We went a bit girly and had lots of Australian Shiraz with the main course <my bad>.
We then had a choice of Tipsy Laird (Sherry Trifle) or Cranachen, with Shortbread biscuits for the young 'uns (weans).
Single malt is our friend........
