Dogs
Any dog lovers out there, who has what pooch?
I have a 2 year old Akita, I'm laughing to myself now because she is at the groomers tomorrow. Its probably going to cost £50-60 just for a wash brush and blow. Its a complete waste of money as she will be begging to sleep outside tomorrow night and will be black by morning! Im in the wrong job!

I have an 11 year old mutt, Benji - 1/3 collie, 1/3 labrador, 1/3 greyhound - brain the size of a peanut (no, I didn't mix the e up with an l), but a heart the size of a very large things.

Re: Dogs
Being groomed? You mad? I went the pub to reclaim the masculinity lost by having her groomed. She was there 4 hours.
Great big ball of fluff now though

Re: Dogs
I have a 5 year old Welsh setter (apparently) he was found as a puppy wandering round the carpark of the Tesco store that my Mum worked at, he was covered in nail polish. My Mum brought him home, we put up posters & informed the PDSA & all local Vets that we had found him, but no one claimed him.
He is really friendly, daft as a brush & still thinks that he is a puppy.

Feel daft saying it as its your dog but are you sure? I didnt know there was a Welsh Setter, only English, Gordon and Irish Red and White?
There a Welsh Springer Spaniels which are lovely little red and white things, bright as a button great for training.
I wouldnt trade mine for anything but I would love a little dog as well, so would she but not possible.

Re: Dogs
We have a 7 year old Doberman / Collie cross.
She has her completely daft stupid moments, and then can be very intelligent.
Still thinks she is a puppy the way she likes to play with balls & other toys.
She also likes to sing along to songs on the radio, but is very picky about her choice of songs, has about 5 or 6 songs (that we know of) and she recognises them as soon as the start:

Re: Dogs
Here's our old faithful, loving, smelly old dog. Abandoned by his original owners to walk the streets on the millennium Christmas. A poor site when we got him, so skinny they listed him as a bitch. He is getting on now, probably about 13 years old, having trouble with his hips, has gone deaf, and has some kind of alzheimers, but we love him dearly.
