Hmm.

You just can't make this stuff up.

A Freind (a) has a freind (b) who said she was 'pregnant'. B is not known for being the most stable person. Long story short she lost the baby at 23 weeks. Any hoo there was doubt cast that this pregnancy existed so we had a browse on the tinternet and found that the pic she says was of her dead child after the still birth is someone elses. Also the scan pics we have seen are also off the internet.

A now wants to know how to tell B. There is also a very slight chance that B could have been preggers. A wants to simply tell B outright that shes been caught out. I figured I'd ask the masses for your sage words.

Why does A want to tell B she has been caught out ?

What will it serve than fto uel the fire and make things worse.

If A wants to be a good friend he should be there to comfort B as if any of this is true she might need some help at the moment to get over things.

If I was A I would just ask if everything is OK and see if B wants to talk about things.
Say that things don't add up and that it is Ok to to chat to you and that you are there to help.

If I was 'A' I would keep quiet, especially if they want to stay friends with 'B'.

In my opinion, confronting her with evidence she may have been making it all up wouldn't do any good and may not be the best thing for someone who seems to be very emotionally vulnerable???

Well shes just popped up on msn (fyi A is a girl ;-) ) and A has confronted B who has admitted that the pic is fake. She wanted something to remember her baby by. Trouble is the scan pic that B was shown was a photo copy. I believe that is is a 20% chance of being real but the odds are its all been faked.

The question is, why do this in the first place. And the possibly answers make it unwise to challenge such a person - best left unsaid.

At 23 weeks B should have been showing good signs of being pregnant..

A should never speak to B again, if your correct im disgusted

Well so far the 2 scans pics have been admitted as fake and she's admitted that the other pic was fake also.

She says she wanted him (baby) to be perfect. I'm even further down the line of this being imaginary than before.

At 23 weeks she would of had the proper scans. Why would she need fakes. Unless it was all a fake. Buy her one of the fake ( reborn ) babies shown on channel 4 last week. Then it will get really scary...

It could well be a genuine call for help, I'm told the need to have a baby can be quite overwhelming in both a physical and a mental way for some women.
