Bumped into a couple of chavs earlier
To be exact I bumped into one!
Around 5 pm I was walking down the pavement on the way to my parents who live not to far away, I noticed a couple of chavs approaching on the other side of the road. They both suddenly rushed to cross the road to my side, one walked in the gutter and the other on the pavement. I was on the inside of the pavement and the one on the pavement also moved over to the inside as he approached me, obviously trying to force me to move over and walk between them.
He moved across and put his shoulder down and bashed into me, the law of physics (ie. me being fat and outweighing him by quite a few stone) meant that he bounced off me. I carried on walking, but as soon as I was far enough away he started mouthing off and calling for me to go back and see how big I am etc etc.
I just stopped and stood there waiting for them but they didn't budge, he just continued shouting abuse, obviously he didn't think just two of them was a fair enough fight. I hate scum like this, they think they are so big and hard but do not have the guts to front someone on their own one to one.

You did best to carry on walking chief, to be honest. Not worth finding out what they might have in their pockets waiting for you.

You have to be so careful nowadays.
Everyone seems to be carrying a knife.! So sad.
If they came at me i`d stick it where the sun does`nt shine, explain that in A & E

99% of people who carry knives have no idea what to do with it and will just wave it in your face as a threat. Of course these people are still dangerous and retreat is always the best course of action however if someone sticks me with a blade they wanna hope it stops me in my tracks cuz if it dont its out on me and in them

I'm pretty much the same, I know that if someone managed to put a knife in me my main objective would be to take them out because to be honest if I'm going to die I certainly want to take someone with me. I am fairly street wise and can spot trouble a mile off, I knew straight away that these two were going to try something.
I admit I was half tempted to take action as he was approaching and a number of years ago I probably would of, I was more than ready for any trouble the hands were loose in my pocket and I was primed for action but not showing it as I pretended not to be very observant. I guess if it had materialised into anything I would of probably been the one the police were questioning regardless of how much trouble makers they are.
I do not know the one who bumped into me, but I have seen him around and I am fairly certain he is a member of a well known scum family around here.

Just be carefull.
Remember the do gooders saying.
Weak on the perpetrators of crime , Hard on the victims of crime. You would be the one done for defending yourself while the scumbags get counseling and holidays

A Rolled up magazine is the best deterrent for these fatherless little tracksuit fairies.

Probably did take the best course of action then. Not the one you'd like to take clearly, but in the long run..

Re: Bumped into a couple of chavs earlier
What if when he aimed his shoulder at you, he'd actually had a knife concealed and you knew nothing about it until the blood was flowing?

What if the car driving past you mounted the pavement and splatted you. If you start thinking like that you will become a wreck and effectivley lose you're life as you will be too scared to go anywhere and do anything.

You might not think it's worth answering, I'm hoping Escapee doesn't feel the same.

Some idiot chav made the mistake of waving a knife in my face last summer, something he really, really, really regretted doing
