Your NYE plans
What have you got planned for New Years' Eve? I'll be spending the night in with the burd...

Re: Your NYE plans
I'll spend the night cooking a 7 course gourmet dinner for 40-50 :-(
I'll be paid well for it and the burd is working that night anyway. We've decided that we are both going to work and then go for a night out at a Sharrow Bay in January it is a Michelin star joint and supposed to be awesome.

Re: Your NYE plans
New years eve in my local, they have gone a bit upmarket this year and are charging £1o for the tickets and have a strict formal dress policy.
This I think is mainly due to a few of the rough pubs closing this year, we seem to be getting some of the undesirable (=scum) coming in recently. I think the £10 and formal dress has put most of that type off and I think they are also trying to be selective who they sell the tickets to.
One good point though, the drinks are £1 each. I doubt very much if that will make me drink more than I usually would so probably just a cheaper night.lol
