New Year's resolutions
Post them here - so you can look back on 31st December 2008 at your failures
I don't really have any bad habits - don't smoke, drink in moderation, not overweight. I do have a slight, furry front airbag, but that's due to my work and having to eat late on a night. I do try to do at least one thing a month that scares me - so I'd want to try to keep that up. A partner would be nice - not hopeful though. But I guess I can resolve to be more receptive to opportunities.

I'm determined that I'm going to get more exercise & lose at least a stone. I'd also like to get a bunch of things done that I've been putting off for too long.

I have to admit I had a bit of a WTF? moment before I realised what you were talking about.

I think I'm in a similar situation: a g/f would be nice... but what if she turns out like the last 1?

Re: New Year's resolutions
Try to get the rent money paid on time... All the time.
Seems this months rent is gonna be 4 days late, which has led to so many arguments, it's not even my fault, i've had £600 in bank transfers go missing to me so far! And the £1000 that's meant to be coming by moneygram never did, as the moneygram server decided to curl up and die over xmas!
Rents du8e tomorrow by 12pm. £250 of it! I'm screwed. And no-one will borrow it to me for 4 days. 2 people are broke and the other 2 are on their high-horses about it. I can barely afford tyo eat this week, nevermind somehow pull rent out my ass.
Luckily, this should be resolved for good by Fevruary, as long as we still have a roof above our head!
