Mobile Deal .?

It is that time of year again when I look for a contract for my mobile .
The best I have got up to now is
750 mins
100 texts
Unlimited free O2 calls
18 months £25
and a choice of phones.
Would prefer just 12 moonths if possible.Has anyone seen any good deals lately.
Thanks.

Re: Mobile Deal .?

who's your current provider? get in touch with their retentions department. o2 were really good when ive phoned them in the past.

Usually an existing customer outside of their minimum period will get a better deal than a new customer.

Re: Mobile Deal .?

give them a call, tell them you want a PAC as your thinking about moving to a different provider. They will normally look at how much you use etc and find a decent plan for you.

Might be an idea to arm yourself with some prices of other providers and the new free phone etc to see if that helps.

Re: Mobile Deal .?

quick look online for around 700 mins and 100 txts
vodafone - £50.00 800 mins 500 txt

t mobile -£45.00 625 minutes or you can use some of the minutes as txts

orange - £55.00 800 mins, 200 txts

Virgin - £40.00 - 750 mins 750 txts

3 - £24.0 a month 900 minutes, or you can use some of the minutes as txts like t.mobile

02 - £45.00 800 mins 1000 txts

from the above it looks like 3 is the cheapest, but i have heard a few horror stories about them, for the extra £1 i would stick with o2.
