How do you skim a stone 51 times?

I just found it amazing that yesterday 'The Metro' could devote an entire page to this guy skimming the stone - surely there's slightly more important things going on in the world, given that the paper is only 30 odd pages long...

They are just trying to cater to the intellectual level of their readership....

I only managed two. I could never find a good left handed skimming stone they all seemed to be right handed (that's my excuse anyway).
