Pot Noodle
I have seen an advert for pot Noodles and I am confused, Didn't they take them off the shelves? I remember something to do with Pot Noodles linked with cancer? And I havent seen pot noodles around for ages, not on the adverts.

Re: Pot Noodle
I've never seen pot noodles removed - Anyway they still do them in all the shops round here, Asda and Tesco too.
I used to love pot noodle and smash....
When I move out I may well go back to that

Re: Pot Noodle
Was an ad on for them last night, now with less salt. (With things taken out). Not the cancer I take it.
I like them when in the right mood for 'dirty' food.

Re: Pot Noodle
Bring back the cheese and tomato flavour I say. Even though they did smell like sick.

Re: Pot Noodle
Pot Noodles were contaminated with Sudan 1, a cancer causing food dye as were a hell of a lot of other products and brands, they are fine now

Re: Pot Noodle
Its the no salt advert i saw, but i havent seen them in the shops since i think the sudan 1 thing which is maybe what the cafuffle was about. I didnt know they pulled the adverts over the welsh, why dont they pull the stupid advert on the geordie woman asking for a loan. thinking of it makes me cringe.
Well i will have to get a chicken and mushroom and try it, but i used to like supernoodles until they made the new improved recipe tasteless, 6 packets in the cupburd i will never eat them.

Re: Pot Noodle
I bought a Bombay Badboy (er, the Pot Noodle that is ) the other day. That was quite nice as I'd chucked it over some nice Charlotte potatoes. Yum.

Re: Pot Noodle
Euwwwww!
Don't you guys cook proper food??
My friend used to work in a particular storage facility where they held pot noodles for a period of time. It was riddled with rats

Yes, most of the time! I'd boiled the potatoes but needed something quick to chuck on them. First Pot Noodle I've bought in about 4 years.
It's not easy finding time to cook when you get home from work then have to get ready to go back to work (different work, own business).
