Does washing your trainers in the washing machine damage the washer?

I did that once with a pair of All Stars. It didn't damage the washing machine, but it did make a hell of a lot of noise.

Nope,especially if you put them in a pillow case to begin with and tie the end of it
I'd never wash leather trainers tho, cos they'll crack and end up looking awful
