How green are you?
With all the information now being reported about CO2 emmisions and climate changes I have been looking at the amount of CO2 my household generates.
I wondered if any one else would also be interested using this Carbon Calculator.

Travel is the killer as the wife has a car which is used for business travel.

My score came out as 7.00 tonnes a year for our home. - Heating : 3.13 tonnes.
- Appliances : 1.79 tonnes.
- Transport : 2.08 tonnes.
Not too bad against the National Average of 10.22.

Appliances: 1.21 tonnes
Transport: 0 tonnes
Total 5.28 tonnes pa compared to national average of 10.22 tonnes pa, and a target of 4.23 tonnes pa
It doesn't really work that well. I had to say "yes" to draught-proofing even though it's not needed - I have uPVC doors and windows. And I said "no" to loft insulation and then realised I'm sat in the loft, so it would be tricky to fit

Home: 5.3 (national average: 4.5)
Appliances: 0.9 (national average 1.56)
Travel: 15.5 (national average: 4.10)
I think it's the flying and my wife's one hour commute to work
