Re: Wireless House Alarm

We have a wireless alarm system, but with 2 PIR (which cover front & back door) and a bell box, we dont really need much else.
They do what they say on the tin, we havnt had no false alarms with it, just make sure you replace the batteries in the sensors every 2 years and every year in the keypad.
Cant think off hand what make ours is.
Some of the better ones SMS you on alarm activation.

Very stable M8.
There are no issues that I know of in my limited experience.

Sounds like a Yale unit. I have one, two pir's & 2 window/door sensors & an external siren/light. Never had any false alarms with it. They are basic bits of kit, and as you say, if your willing to pay a bit more you can have it SMS you on activation. You can also add new sensors etc as you need them.

They are very stable mate, I had one in my old house, it never let me down, I fitted it myself along with 4 sensors, 2 door sensors also if there was ever an activation you could set it up via your phone to send a recorded message to which ever numbers you had programmed in saying the alarm had been activated, it was well worth the money.
