I know its a little on the late side but if anybody can make this time. This information only came out yesterday. If you live/work that way please post if your going or what you think on the subject.

Audience Members for Television Debate on Green Taxes

This is just a short email to TPA supporters in London to say that we have been contacted by a production company who are looking for additional audience members for a recorded TV debate on green taxation and climate change. The "Question Time"-style 30 minute programme will include a panel of prominent commentators and scientists who will be discussing proposals for new green taxes and debating the UK's response to climate change.

Despite the short notice (and the RMT's strike action), the filming will take place TOMORROW at the ITV studios on the SOUTH BANK, LONDON, SE1 at 6PM until 8PM. Those interested in taking part should email Victoria.crawford@itv.com or call her direct on 0207 737 8724, and she can give you more details about the show and where/when to arrive.

They are particularly interested in hearing from people who feel they are paying too much in green taxes, who question the efficacy of green taxes, or from people who are heavily reliant on private transport for work or business. People who question the motive of politicians' green policies and have a sceptical or "agnostic" attitude to climate change policies generally are encouraged to contact Victoria.

The programme will be broadcast this Friday evening (7 September).

Kind regards,

Blair
