Women and cufflinks
When did women start wearing cufflinks? - 2 women I've seen today have been wearing them - when did that happen???

Re: Women and cufflinks
Didn't know they did, but I suppose it makes sense.
More women now are CEO-types, and earning that money and have to wear proper shirts, as opposed to the traditional silk-blouse secretarial type.

Re: Women and cufflinks
Question is .... where did you see them ?
If they were on the tube then they're probably wannabes.

Re: Women and cufflinks
Also, I think back in the 80s during the greed-is-good/yuppie era, masculine fashion was in for women. Shoulder pads, loosely/un-tailored suits, etc. Maybe its making a come back.

Re: Women and cufflinks
Well the 80s was just a plea for women to be heard hence the outrageousness of it all...
But nowadays they do wear the pants and indeed are respected so I too do wonder the significance of the cuff links
It would be interesting if this propagates into them also wearing a solid gold pocket watch... Now that would be cool.

They were in the bank, but I don't think they were 'high up' people

Yup you rarely see 'high up' people around or if you do you tend to ignore them cos they look like a scruff.
Interesting to see though... ps were they fit ? (nothing like seeing a healthy woman )

Don't think matching tie-clips would work, though, do you?
