Washing Machine Problem

I have a Bosch WFB 2005 (originally purchased in Oman about 7 years ago)

Today the drain/spin cycle is playing up. If I run the machine on a normal cycle it is not draining/spinning at the end. However if I set the machine to just do the spin/drain part of the cycle it seems ok if not very well spun out.

Any clues as to what the problem is are gratefully appreciated?

Always worth checking the drain pump isn't clogged with something. The number of times mine has given up with a 5p coin, small stone, or other obstruction

Next question would be is "where is it?" Never had a manual for the machine you see

There should be a flap bottom right or left on the front. Pull that down and there should be a filter to clean.

Just had a look at some pics of that model. The filter (if it has one) may be hidden behind a clip off bottom panel. Give the panel a tug to see if it comes off (without breaking it of course).

Found it! 2 simple quarter turn screw lugs and the kick flap was off. Unscrewed the filter thingy, cleaned out the blue lint and is spinning away nicely
