I think we have one - the garden is Mrs Gaz's domain, so not sure.
Basically it is a bucket with holes in the bottom for drainage into which our vegetable scraps are chucked in & the worms eat the scraps & make compost.
You have to get the correct kind of worms, though - have a google, there are plenty of sites offering kits, worms & advice
