I went for a walk around the nature reserve ponds with the Mrs over the weekend - looking for frogspawn or tadpoles so we could transfer some to our garden pond.
None!
Are we too early yet? (North West UK)
Last year we waited until late May and the nature reserve warden siad we had "missed them"
I'm in Manchester, had fog spawn in our garden pond for several weeks, now we have tadpoles. Doubt they will last long as the goldfish love the little darlings. I know that you shouldn't have goldfish in a frog infested pond but the goldfish were there first.
