Miele K3214S Fridge Fitting Temperature sensor

Hi all

I have a rather warm fridge at the moment. Phoned Miele and they said it was properbly the temperature sensor which costs £50.00. However the call out charge in £99.00

I wondered how easy such a thing is to fit. I am ok with a screw driver and would prefer to have a go if possible !!!

Any ideas on fitting such a thing ?????

Many thanks

Mike

Look for an independent repairer with a more reasonable call-out charge?

They are a doddle to fit, just make sure you unplug the fridge first, I just replaced the whole thing on my brother inlaws fridge, stat & sensor, cost was £15, look around for a local shop

I wouldn't advise that, how do you know, or why do you think it's the sensor ? It could be the door seals and or the stat or maybe it needs to be re-gassed
