London- things to do in the evening
Afternoon all
I'm heading down to London this evening to meet up with a friend, and i'm looking for something to do.
We want something a bit different to do though, the usual dinner/ pub/ cinema/ theatre etc activities aren't on the cards, however i'm having problems thinking of something to do.
Won't be able to get out until about 8pm, can anyone think of something we can do that is a bit different?

Re: London- things to do in the evening
London Eye? Would say river cruise but that would be a bit chilly and open for mis-interpretation
Edit:
How about a comedy club? Go heckle some young fool lol

Done the london eye and a river cruise (and yes it was in the summer when it was warm )
Comedy club is a good idea though Now just need to see if i can find one where the show starts quite late

I lived there too Picking her up from work in NW, but will probably end up going down to central.
The drink and curry option isn't any different to what normally happens, and if i'm going to get laid i'd rather it be at her house than in soho

:O how rude!
I used to go to the chicago rib shack, great food, great music, great atmosphere, but it closed down a few years ago Haven't found a jazz club as good since

Re: London- things to do in the evening
the aquarium? the london eye is nice, and next to the aquarium and namco - which is fun - games, bowling, snacks, booze... Anton and I went to the Luton namco earlier, and he won a digital camera and printer!

Re: London- things to do in the evening
A bit short notice for a meal overlooking the Thames but how about a drink on the Queen Mary (off waterloo bridge) its not all that bad ! preceded or followed by a Thai ( Thai pin). Its a bit a way away but the walk along the embankment is cool... Please do the footbridge that links the embankment to the south bank...
Can recommend the walks and the queen mary for drinks but not too sure about a local place to eat ---
All romantic stuff indeed - Oh almost forgot ! and take some rubber (best safe than sorry).

Why? Is the Thames likely to flood?
