Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
My grant came through today from the Welsh Development Agency for the small side-business I've set up - wrestling birthday parties!
Some kids have magicians, discos etc at their birthday parties, but as long as they've got a venue with a roof more than 16 feet high then I'll provide the ring, wrestlers and put on some great action for them
Afterwards the kids get to meet the wrestlers and the birthday child gets signed pictures etc

What a great idea Russ. Kids love anything remotely blood thirsty. I hope your going to have masked avengers and the odd ghoul.

Good luck Craig. Will this be for a full time job or a filler before you go on to other things?

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
It will certainly look good on future CVs.
My son managed to do this throughout his time at University and his first, and still current serious employer commented about how they had been impressed by his strength of commitment. It went a long way to keeping him in beer as well.

Congratulations, HM, to your son (and to his parents, for giving him an environment where he can flourish ).
My happy thought - this time tomorrow night I will be approx. 5k to the east of Girne/Kyrenia (Northern Cyprus), sipping an ice cold beer (or four); the four day forecast for Sat-Tue is 95, 95, 100, 100 (in old money) .
So looking forward to a fortnight with my family, after working away through the week for 4 months - here's hoping they can put up with me full time.

Lost 2 and half pounds this week and I'm down to the next stone.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
The really great thing is that because I'm eating more omega three foods as well as losing the weight my bad knee has cleared up completely.
I may be able to get on a bike earlier than I anticipated. So I'd better price up some second hand ones.
