Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
£150 quid saved on my car insurance this year. Ker-ching!
Still at least Direct Line tried to keep me.
Me - "I'm saving £150 over your renewal quote"
Direct Line - "Well your new policy has a £250 excess, if we change the existing one to that the price will go down by £30"
Me - "I think I'll still take the new one and the extra £120

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
I've been coding away for the last four hours on a website. Nightmare time adding pop-up windows and finishing a scrolling banner. All working now though Just a bit of CSS to sort out - can do that tomorrow. Bit tired

I know - the customer doesn't. She's artistic, she tells me. Anyway, she doesn't like the new monochrome colour scheme - wants it black and white. The graphics chap will have kittens

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
Got an (admittedly rather unusual) email from an old friend today.. She's heavily pregnant (I knew this: she sent me a jpeg of the ultrasound a couple of months ago), and while she just sent me a smiley for a message, she attached a photo of herself..
Well, it's nice to see her looking healthy and happy..

Well Stuart when we ladies are pregnant we tend to think we are the centre of the universe...and that everyone else wants to know all about it.

Wasn't the part about pregnancy superfluous?
