My washing machine died today again but totally this time. managed to fault find diagnose locate locally a new part and fit it all for a tenner 1 guy I called wanted 60 quid call out so result

Bonus Zing!
Ordered the o-rings I need for Cassy from the local Citroen stealer, should be here tomorrow and cost around a quid for both.
Also picked up a new rocker case gasket as the old one has gotten quite hard.
Might try some silicon grease on the vacuum pump's o-rings to see if we can get the car drivable as it'd be easier to do that than tow it to the other end of MK to get it off the road.

Sounds about normal for a call out, I've seen some as high as £80 just to turn up, then there's the labour and inflated parts prices on top.

Got Cassy to my mate's last night so she's now legal and SORN.
Loads of black smoke half way there and even some sparks coming out of the exhaust.
So tonight we'll have the fun job of using the priming pump to empty 50odd ltrs of diesel/veg mix and fit a new fuel filter.
Fun fun fun.

I now have about 50ltrs of veg oil in jerry cans, and a car that runs much better
