Yes Tinky very good news.
Gaz... No twins... don't scare me like that!! I just don't like referring to baby as "it" and "it" has well outgrown being referred to as Jellybean.
Now I am going to make them triple check tomorrow not only the size of the head (Hubbys family all have huge heads as kids) but also that there is really only one in there!

I wouldn't want to have to say your firms name if I was a bit tipsy. I take it they are an internet related company?

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
I got back from a busy day in London, turned on my computer only to find I couldn't connect to the Internet, I left it for half hour but still no signal, so I dialled 151. Got a really nice guy who went through all the usual things, then he said, "change the ethernet cable around, so as the bit in the modem is now in the PC and visa versa", imagine my total horror when I went to do this and found I had left the ethernet cable plugged into the xbox from last night. By now I'm thinking, poo, poo how can I get out of this without looking a complete wally, then I thought I know... went back to the phone and rather sheepishly said my wife was playing on the xbox and must have forgotten to put the cable back After a laugh between the pair of us, the guy says, "don't worry about it mate, we get lots of calls like this, what I find amazing is that it's generally the wife that did it." It wasn't until I sat down that I realized he had sussed me out.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
That's always a giveaway - the changing around of the cable does nothing. One end is the same as the other. But it can resolve connectivity issues - simply because you are disconnecting and reconnecting the cable. Plus in finding the cable you might, say, find the pet hamster has had a go at it. What you never do is tell us it was unplugged - we will know you did it. Should have said, "Done that, and oh smashing - seems to be working". Might then have got away with it - no guarantee though. We can sense the foolishness in your voice
My happy thought - after several hours of wrestling with some nasty Javascript, PHP, and HTML, with the help of a colleague too, I now have a working marquee box Just need to make it a tad more dynamic - one or two values are fixed at the moment that I would like not to be.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
Just got back off an amazing Holiday. Two friends of mine got married in Turkey. The bride is Turkish, so they got married in her parent's home city (Bursa, which is actually frendlier than Istanbul).
Amazing wedding (Turkish weddings basically consist of 10 minutes of ceremony interspersed in about 7 hours of fireworks, acts, partying and a 17 course meal). The nice thing is that the couple arranged for all the tables to have some English and some Turkish speakers, and the Turks translated for us.
I also met my friends families (the bride's for the first time), and made the mistake of letting the groom's kid brothers and sisters (he has two of each) use my camera. As such, thanks to the fact I have a 4 Gig memory card, I now have about 900 photos to go through.
Rather nicely, the Bride's father, despite the fact that at that point he had only seen me sober once (at the wedding), paid for a birthday meal for me.
