Thanks. I finish using holidays on Friday 13th. I am at the hospital on Wednesday, hoping that I am no longer breech.

Good on you Dilli, hope things work out
Less than 6 weeks Fingy? Hope you've got a bag packed...
My happy thought, got wolf whistled by two young ladies sat at a bus stop on my way back from the shops...
Unfortunately they looked about 14

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
Bag packing is on the agenda for this week. I think I have everything I need... it's just scattered about, but hubby knows where everything is just incase. (I think)

Dunno if it is any reassurance, but master Gaz was breech, the hospital were willing to deliver naturally (i.e. no caesarian), the only proviso being they administered an epidural, to avoid any delay just in case of complications requiring the surgery.
In the end all was well, he was delivered bum first & just had a bit of a pointy head for a few days...

Just to echo - really...
My 2nd was breech and she would/could not be turned... but you can be assured of the utmost care throughout - and an epidural wins hands down over gas and air. A longer stay in the hospital is likely though - hospital rules.
And she didn't have a pointy head either .
She's been a blinking awkward madam ever since though...

Hard to be sure sometimes [though obviously safer to err on the side of caution]. I remember a while ago I was in the Co-op, and the 2 girls in front of me looked about 14 at the most, but the woman serving knew them - turns out 1 was nearly 18 & the other nearly 19.

Oooh! Fingy, aren't you getting excited, and do you know if it's a boy or girl?
My happy thought for today, my sister-in-law's tests show that the surgeon has managed (in her second breast operation), to remove all the cancer! !!!!!! She now has to have radiotherapy, but amazingly this can be done with tablets. In that case hopefully we can expect her down on holiday any time now. !!!!!

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2
I've seen some funny things on You Tube, but this version of Gilbert and Sullivan's "Major General" did make me laugh.
Just skip the first minuet.
