Oh well it's better than no work and no pay I suppose and lots of folk are having to accept paycuts to keep their jobs.

Technology company, not sure what they actually do, apart form provide tech support, ranging from "hit the power button", to actually solving problems...
My job is first contact, everyone goes through me, or one of 18 others. That's over 6,000 people to support in Europe and the US. So, 1st line Tech Support, with the possibility to go to 2nd line when i'm experienced enough. So, nothing fancy, but i do like doing Tech Support, so,

Pompey won the FA CUP...
Yes I know I don't like footy that much but it's made their supporters very happy, but in particular him in doors.

Well done to Pompey, from a very disillusioned Brighton supporter. Maybe Harry Rednapp could travel up the coast and give us a few pointers, we are still dining out on our 1983 cup final experience , which, by the way we lost

My happy thought is the attached picture, taken about 20mins before everything was taken away. Why so happy? that letter entitles my resignation from the crappest job i ever had.

Reminds me of when I quite Sainsburys. I was a shelf stacker briefly whuile at Uni.
The pay was actually quite good, but the job was crap and the manager a complete ... Well, I can't say what he is as it is against forum rules, and also libellous..
Anyhow, I walked up to the manager in the middle of the store, told him exactly where he could shove his job (up his derriere but using slightly less polite language), then threw my cheap Sainsburys uniform at him and walked out. Never felt so good either before or since.
