Mr LM, as I asked before, why has she not yet got a name?
She looks like a Katie to me

We just haven't picked one that we like yet - it's been a busy couple of weeks, but in the next few days we should sit down and write a short list...
though if my son has his way, she'll be called 'Pink Power Ranger'.

I'm sure I remember a Stargate episode where the p90 & staff weapon were compared vis a vis cutting logs in half - I'm also sure it didn't take 45 seconds for either

like I said - 45 seconds? -
I would hope a minigun could do it in less than 0.45 seconds, otherwise how many times would that need reloading

Not a massive fan of machine guns - they fire too many bullets. I'm more of a one shot, one kill, nice and neat, quiet and clinical type of guy. Silenced 9mm and something long range, preferrably silenced. Rocket launcher. Sorted. I do like the machine guns in Crysis and Far Cry - can switch to single fire, so they behave the same as a 9mm. Shotgun comes in handy for close-quarter combat - typically in urban settings where the enemy lurks behind a sofa, say. The Crysis shotgun has a configurable spread pattern - wide or narrow. I find that cool
I'm slowly getting my holidays sorted Weekend in Blackpool planned, plus a hostel thing in August. Looking forward to both. Going to be skint but I'm living a bit, for once, so I'm ignoring the debt

It may be worth remembering that most sight charities will also see people who are not registered blind or partially sighted.
If you are having problems pay them a visit and they may be able to help you with some magnifying aids

Talking of sight problems it puts me in mind of a news conference a year or so back in the White House where George Bush said to a journalist, "are you going to ask your question with sunglasses on?", the L.A reporter is registered blind, a fact George had been warned about beforehand.
