Errr I was! Up until NOW that is.

Slight blot is the slow leak under the sink that Hubby can't pinpoint but as it's a public holiday I made him give up and enjoy a day off.

That your dog, Zing? Lovely looking dog - some sort of terrier in there somewhere? Staffy? Claws look a bit long, methinks - long road walk maybe.

I'm just happy at the moment - might be the weather

Re: The Happy Thought Thread - Part 2

I remember when I was a kid, walking our two dogs - Scamp (an allsort) and Rak (Staffy cross Patterdale) - the last mile or so would be on pavements/road, to wear down their claws. Never saw my dad have to cut them. Worming was a different matter - Scamp would get through the best part of a tub of Flora. Wasn't daft. Rak would just eat them - he ate anything, including his bedding. Bit nutty. I remember when he got stuck down a rabbit hole - we had to head home for a shovel. Managed to get him out - snout and eyes all caked in soil. Went for my dad Happy days

I am more than happy to say that mother-in-law has recovered from her stroke, which is amazing, considering we were told to expect the worst. Oh! happy day!
